Now Hiring: Maintenance Superintendent
Gail Willey Landscaping is seeking a highly qualified and experienced landscape maintenance superintendent. We are a 35-year-old, well-established and highly respected landscaping company branching out a maintenance division exclusively for our existing customers. The maintenance superintendent will be responsible for performing a variety of work tasks in order to manage the timely completion of landscape maintenance contracts and will need to be able to train and operate a variety of tools and equipment to carry out specific job tasks, as well as provide daily progress reporting on job time and cost data.
•Highly capable, experienced, and organized
•Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices
•Capable of training and operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
•Efficient scheduling and managing abilities
•Effective communication skills – must be able to carry out verbal instructions and complete daily reports to office and/or customers
•Ability to perform landscape tasks to industry standards
•Manage the execution of maintenance contracts
•Manage safety, quality, and productivity of work at job sites
•Communicate schedules, jobs, and tasks to crews and staff
•Maintain up-to-date detailed schedule
•Train and operate various tools and equipment, including but not limited to mowers, trimmers, blowers, shovels, hammers, drills, etc.
•Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization
•Complete and submit all required paperwork on a daily basis
Compensation: Depends on Experience
