John Willey
General Manager
John has been working in landscaping and heavy construction since 1984. He has been with Gail Willey Landscaping for over 30 years and since 2015, has been the General Manager of the company. John is the CMS qualifier for Gail Willey Landscaping, with classifications in: A-12 Excavating, Grading, Trenching and Surfacing, A-15 Sewers, Drains and Pipes, A-19 Pipeline and Conduits, A-21 Fencing and Guardrails, A-22 Rockery Walls and Engineered Water Features, and C18 Masonry.
Thomas Sloniker
Designer/Chief Estimator/Project Manager
Thomas has been involved in design & landscaping services for 30 years. He has designed and installed several projects throughout the Tri-Valley (Bay Area) and the San Joaquín Valley (Tracy, Manteca, Modesto, Stockton) for twenty of the thirty years. He has been a designer and project manager since April 3, 2007 and currently holds a Ca. C-27 landscape construction license for Gail Willey Landscaping.
Greg Berg
Designer/Project Manager
Greg has been working for Gail Willey Landscaping since March of 2017. He has over 30 years’ experience in landscape design and has worked all over the U.S, reaching from the Midwest to the West Coast. Throughout his career, his designs have received several awards, including from the Wisconsin Landscape Association and the Nevada Landscape Association. Greg draws inspiration from his travels throughout the United States and the world.

Andrew Morris
Designer/Project Manager
Andrew has been working for Gail Willey Landscaping since the Spring of 2018. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture and Planning from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Andrew has over 11 years of landscape design experience, as well as an additional 5 years in landscape maintenance. Several of his designs have earned 1st place awards from the Nevada Landscape Association and the Builders Association of Northern Nevada.
Severo Mejia
Estimator/Project Manager
Severo has been with Gail Willey Landscaping since June of 1997. For over 15 years, he worked in the field as a laborer, Foreman, and eventually Superintendent. For the last 7 years, Severo has held the role of Estimator, working closely with the Project Managers and pricing jobs. He also works with the field superintendents and foreman to ensure all jobs are executed accordingly.

Nelson Funez
Senior Field Superintendent
Nelson joined the Gail Willey Landscaping team in 2002 as a laborer. With a lot of hard work and dedication, he currently serves as the Senior Field Superintendent. Nelson coordinates and leads all crews and works closely with the Project Managers to ensure all projects are being executed efficiently in the field.
Justin Willey
Field Superintendent
Justin joined the Gail Willey team in 2014 as an equipment operator and laborer. He has 9 years’ experience in landscaping, as well as in equipment and machinery. He coordinates and leads several crews, ensuring projects are being executed efficiently. Justin is ICPI certified and holds a Class A Commercial Drivers License.
David Bates
General Construction
Dave joined the Gail Willey Landscaping team in November of 2016. He has over 26 years of experience in general construction and has worked in Las Vegas, Napa Valley, and the Reno/Tahoe area. Currently, Dave specializes in outdoor living projects, focusing on shade structures, masonry, carpentry, tile, and concrete.
